The Maple Guild Organic Bourbon Barrel Aged Vermont Syrup is wood-fired maple syrup collected from the sap from sugar maple trees. The maple sap, taken to the maple sugar house, is then boiled over a traditional wood-fired evaporator and dehydrated to produce tasty maple syrup. The 100% pure Vermont maple syrup is aged for 60 days in the company’s oak bourbon barrels.

Main antioxidants in Vermont maple syrup are cinnamic acid, benzoic acid, gallic acid, and various flavanols such as epicatechin, quercetin, rutin and catechin.
