The Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone has four different pattern settings providing great flexibility for easy recordings of audio, podcasts, music, vocals, for interviews, videos, and even cryptology.
The box consists of a microphone, USB cable, adjustable stand, and instructions. It has both a pressure gradient and condenser capsules.
The Yeti USB microphone has four pattern modes – Cardioid Mode that is perfect for instruments, voice-overs, vocal performances, game streaming, and podcasts. Cardioid mode records sound sources that are in front of the microphone and give a full-bodied and rich sound. Stereo mode utilizes both the right and left channels and is great for taking a general and realistic sound image. Bidirectional mode records from both the front and back of the microphone and are perfect for recording an interview between two people or picks up the subtle sounds of a musical instrument. Omnidirectional mode captures sound from all directions equally and is ideal for situations for picking up the ambient sounds such as the live recording of a musician.
