“Unlike kits with ready-made motors and electronics, Snap Circuits lets curious kids explore the fundamentals by snapping together color-coded components to make working circuits.”

Snap Circuits SC-300 Electronics Discovery Kit is a kit that can enable kids to begin building simple circuits.
The kit consists of more than 60 pieces, including a microphone, a fan propeller, a slide switch, snap wires, capacitors, a resistor, an assembly pegboard, a buzzer and other pieces, and a 74 page illustrated instruction manual.
Each electronic part comes attached to thick plastic for making the snap piece, and each snap piece has two metal snaps on the ends. Each piece can then be connected to each other or snapped onto the pegboard to complete the circuit.
The kit comes with an illustrated instruction manual that can enable children to develop 300 different circuit configurations. About 150 of the overall projects are different from one another, and the rest projects need a little modification that transforms how the circuit works. Some of the projects are a burglar alarm, AM radio and more. The set comprises more than 60 parts.
The kit has won some prestigious awards such as ‘Dr. Toy Best Educational Products’, ‘Dr. Toy 100 Best Children’s Products’, and ‘The National Parenting Center-Seal of Approval’.
The configurations of the toy set help in developing hand-eye coordination of children, problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability, giving attention to details, and building the patience of children.
The Snap Circuits SC-300 Electronics Discovery Kit is designed to teach children, early teens and high school students to go through the process of really making the circuits all by themselves.
