Global G-2 8 inch Chef’s Knife is an eight-inch knife that is manufactured from one-piece of high-quality CROMOVA 18 stainless steel. The knife can be used for dicing, slicing vegetables and fruits, as well as chopping and mincing meat.

The blade of the Global G-2 Knife is manufactured from a special high-tech mixture of chromium, vanadium, and molybdenum stainless steel making it possible for the edge to retain its sharpness just as good as brand new. The edge can be sharpened with a whetstone. The knife’s high chromium content provides it outstanding resistance to staining, corrosion, and rust.

The Global G-2 Knife is lighter and comes with thinner blades compared to than traditional European-style knives. The knife’s edge is also crafted at a greater acute angle compared to European-style knives. The knife is provided with a finger notch between its handle and blade that gives additional safety.

The Global G-2 Knife is still made by hand in the company’s Yoshikin’s factory in the Japanese port city of Niigata. All the company’s knives comply with the high Global standards and have won several awards.
